Why the IBDBA was Established
The increasing need for practicality and scholarly mix among organizations and corporations has made the DBA program an eye-catcher for professionals who wish to stand out from other executives. The DBA program allows professionals to explore academic and scholarly research that helps them compete in an everchanging market address how the world of business can operate more effectively.
However, the number of Black DBA Students is at a low participation level for enrollment as well as retention for some of the following reasons:
1. The average minority in a corporation does not see the advantage of pursuing a DBA and does not see the financial investment worth the participation.
2. The course can be rigorous and additional support is most of the time needed for the minority students to sustain in the program therefore can lead to possible separation from the student body.
3. Black executives and consultants face various challenges in the career world therefore this organization provides sessions, seminars, and access to resources that can help the DBA Professional overcome those barriers.
